This is my painting of spooky trees. It takes inspiration from Disney drawings. It uses contrast between the sky and the trees. There is also movement because of the dots. The dots ado make it look more three dimensional. The emotion is peaceful because there is not much happening in the picture.
This is my Dreamtime painting. I used contrast mostly to convey a sense of dark and light on the different sides of the person. I would say that the mood is confused because it is not just one thing happening in the picture; there are many different shapes and colors. There is also motion in the pictures because of the spirals and dots. This is my independent project where I recreated my spiral squares. I added color in order to hange the mood of the drawing. I think the mood is happy because of how much color is in it. There is also dimension because of the darker colors around the edges of the squares. This is my two color block print. I used blue and green to add color to the petals and leaves of the flower. The emotion is happy because the flower has bright colors. It uses texture with the lines and crosshatching in the background. The flower is 2d but with the texture it looks slightly 3D. This is my final black and white block print. I used texture mostly when making this. I used crosshatching and lines to create dimension in the flower and to make it seem less 2D. The mood is peaceful because there is only a flower in the picture and nothing else going on. I also used color is the others to make it seem more lively compared to the black and white one. This is my pen and ink drawing on my cat. I used a lot of contrast and value in order to see a difference between the cat and the background. I used cross hatching mostly to add the shadows and highlights into the picture. The mood of the picture is happy because the cat is pretty cute so it would make you feel happy. There is emphasis on different parts of the face in order to try to make it look 3D. There is texture in the lines because of the random lines creating a furry look and the hatching makeung the picture have overall texture. The entire picture is lines so they are used in order to create the shape of the face. This is a painting of a desert landscape that came from a picture I took. The emotion is peaceful because there is no action in it. The picture does not have much movement but the different colors add more detail. There is contrast between the foreground and the background. The foreground is darker than the background. Color is used to create darkness by mixing blues and purples instead of using black. This is my final singing of myself. I used value and color layers to create shape in the painting to try to make it more realistic. There is also emphasis on different parts of my face. Proportion is also used to make sure the face looks as accurate as possible. The mood is serious because the face in the picture does not have a particular emotion. This is my self portrait. I used pencil to create a posture that looked somewhat 3D. I used value and shadows to add demension to make my face look less 2 dimensional. I put shadows on the side of my nose and on my neck to add detail. I think that the mood of the drawing is neutral because there is not much happening in it besides the person. I also used proportion to make my head look like it is not too big or too small for my neck. This is a watercolor painting of leaves. I used conplementary colors when doing the background, blues and greens, in order to make the leaves stand out. The emotion is peaceful because there is not much happening in the painting besides the leaves. Some of the leaves overlap in order to add more dimension. |
